Jess Reviews ... Studio Lustrous Eye Shadow

Hello beauties! This week I decided to do a look suitable for a night out - maybe even New Year's Eve. I wanted to do something reasonably dramatic, and the lustrous eyeshadow in Confetti was perfect for this!
To begin, I used elf pigment eyeshadow in naughty noire to create a dark and smokey V on the outer corner of my eye, and then ran the brush I used along my lower lash line. I then went in across my lids with plain white eyeliner to create a canvas for the lustrous eyeshadow. Using a small eyeshadow C brush, I packed on the lustrous eyeshadow, which has a creamy consistency but sets to a powdery finish. This eyeshadow is seriously shimmery and reflective, it's absolutely gorgeous! I applied it from the inner corners of my eyes right up to the V I created earlier.
Finally, I blended the two shadows together toward the outer half of each eye, and finished with black liquid eyeliner and lots of mascara - you could add falsies here too!
The eyeshadow really is long lasting, when I got home in the early hours of the morning, it was still perfectly in place, and during the night I got a lot of compliments on the look. This will definitely be featuring in a few more of my night time looks over the holiday season!
Hope you're all having a great week leading up to Xmas!
J Xx
