Not overly sticky with great pigment and application
I was hesitant to purchase originally due to my preference of avoiding gloss like lip products. When I read a review that said it wasn't overly sticky I chose to give it a go. While it does have some stick it is below the usual stickiness. It loses its stick over time while still keeping some of its colour. If you have major sensory issues avoid it but otherwise I can pucker without feeling like I have honey on my lips.
I also chose to get it since someone likened the colour back cherry to the clinique black honey lip colour. As I was looking for a natural brown/nude this appealed to me. It is a great colour but is slightly darker on Pakeha complexions then the clinique. I'm not bothered as it still suits me fine. May be more of a winter or night lip for some traditionalists.
While I do need to reapply occasionally and it can smear on drinks/straws, ot leaves enough of a tint/stain that I don't feel ripped off. It has become one of my go to basics next to my signature red.
I love the aplictor as it is flexible while being able to stay within lip lines. The end is fuzzy and can bend to hug the shape of your lip. There is a point but has a wide base. I have an uneven lip line that can make filling my lips a challenge but this manages to do so evenly in one to two swipes.
I would recommend purchasing along side the sheer for it blush tint (black cherry with cherry cola) as they're close enough in coloring that it is consistent and if you like one you're sure to like the…
